Community Involvement
At Commerce Bank, we believe that our success as a company is tied directly to the vitality of the cities in which we do business. Not measured solely in economic terms, vitality includes a rich and diverse culture, a healthy environment and outdoor amenities, access to quality education for all children and support services to help those in need. We are pleased to be able to support the many not-for-profit agencies and volunteers working to make these aspirations a reality.
We also believe in the importance of giving back to the community in ways other than financial assistance to benefit many worthwhile causes. Commerce Bank encourages employees to enthusiastically volunteer their time and personally choose the projects they want to support. Each year, we select four outstanding individuals to receive Commerce Commendations for their volunteer commitments. In doing so, we make a contribution to their favorite charity. In addition to volunteering, our employees are active in the United Way workplace giving campaign.
