HUNTER RECEIVES MU’S COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ALUMNI CITATION OF MERIT

Columbia, Missouri, May 29, 2007 – Charles Hunter, Vice President and Central Missouri Region Human Resources Manager, Commerce Bank, recently received Missouri University’s College of Business Alumni Citation of Merit at its annual Honors Luncheon. This award is given to College of Business graduates based on career accomplishments and support of the college through service on an advisory board, presenting guest lectures, assisting with placement of the college’s graduates and/or financial contributions.

Hunter joined Commerce Bank in 1989 and has 29 years of human resource management experience. His service to the College of Business includes serving on the Management Advisory Board; coordinated the facilitation of the 2006 Excellence through Leadership Conference; he is an active sponsor of the Black Business Student’s Association; he participates in Professor-for-a-Day and supports the college’s P.L.A.N. – Promotion Learning And Networking program. Hunter is active in civic and community organizations, including serving as a volunteer through the bank’s initiatives to support Partners In Education, United Way, Central Missouri Food Bank, American Cancer Society, NBA Woodhaven and Boy Scouts of America.
