COMMERCE BANK ANNOUNCES RETAIL BANKING STAFF PROMOTIONS

(Moniteau County, MO – February 18, 2009) – Brad Clay, community president, Commerce Bank, Moniteau County, recently announced the following Retail Banking staff promotions:

Bonnie George, assistant vice president, has been promoted to Branch Manager for both the Tipton and California Banking Centers. In her position, she is responsible for business development and customer service related to banking and lending services for consumers and small business in both Moniteau County locations.

George has approximately 25 years of banking experience and has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Management and Human Resources from William Woods University. Active in the community, George is a board member for the California Area Chamber of Commerce, serving as chairman for the Easter Egg Hunt and the Commerce Bank Kid’s corner held at the Ozark Ham and Turkey Festival. She is a volunteer for American Cancer Society Relay for Life and currently serves as President for the Lady Pinto Volleyball Booster Club.

Tammy Knipp has been promoted to financial services manager for the Tipton Banking Center. In her position, she is responsible for managing retail sales and customer service at the Tipton branch. Knipp joined Commerce in 1983 and prior to her promotion was a Senior Financial Services Representative. She has an Associates Degree in Business from State Fair Community College, Sedalia. Active in the community, she is a volunteer for American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
