Retail Banking Group Promotes Jatho and Steele

(Springfield, MO – October 5, 2010) – John Himmel, chairman, Commerce Bank, Springfield Region, recently announced the following promotions in the Retail Management division of Commerce Bank:

Debbie Jatho has been named Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of Commerce Bank’s Kansas Expressway Banking Center, 2616 N. Kansas Expressway. Jatho has 19 years of retail banking experience with Commerce and in her position she is responsible for managing retail sales and customer service at the Kansas Expressway location. Jatho is a member of North Side Rotary and North Side Betterment Association. Prior to her promotion, she was branch manager for Commerce Bank’s East Sunshine Banking Center.

Amy Steele has been promoted to Retail Banking Officer and Branch Manager of the company’s MSU Banking Center located in the Plaster Student Union on the campus of Missouri State University. Steele has eight years of banking experience and her responsibilities include managing retail sales and customer service at the on-campus branch, which offers a full line of checking, student banking, credit and lending products. She volunteers for civic and charitable initiatives including Missouri State’s recent “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K Run” and through Commerce participates in fund raising efforts for United Way, American Cancer Society Relay for Life and more.
