COMMERCE BANK ANNOUNCES NEW RETAIL BANKING OFFICERS

(Columbia, MO – December 21, 2010 ) – Teresa Maledy, president, Commerce Bank, Central Missouri region, recently announced the following new positions in the Retail Management Division of Commerce Bank:

Joanie Mains has joined Commerce Bank as assistant vice president and branch manager of Commerce’s 5th & Broadway Banking Center, 501 E. Broadway. In her position, she is responsible for managing retail sales, branch operations and developing consumer banking, lending, and small business banking relationships. Mains has more than 28 years of banking experience, including working at Commerce Bank, Columbia from 1994 to 2004. Active in the community, Mains is a member and past national president of American Business Women’s Association and was the recipient of their Woman of the Year 2010 award. She is also a member of the 2011 class of Leadership Columbia.

Carla Garrett has joined Commerce as retail banking officer and branch manager of Commerce Bank’s East Pointe Banking Center, 1700 East Pointe. In her position, she is responsible for managing retail sales, branch operations and developing consumer banking, lending, and small business banking relationships. Garrett more than 26 years of banking experience.
