LANSING RESIDENT WINS COMMERCE BANK SWEEPSTAKES

(Leavenworth, KS September 20, 2001) - Jay Carter a Lansing chiropractor, is a second prize winner for Commerce Bank's "Only Way to Go" sweepstakes. He won a 3-day deluxe vacation to his choice of St. Louis, Chicago, Branson, Lake of the Ozarks, Nashville, Memphis or Lake Geneva. Jon Crippen, Branch Manager presented Mr. Carter with the vacation package.

Mr. Carter is one of 6,500 Commerce Bank customers whose name was entered into the drawing. "We are excited to have a winner from the Lansing area", said Bill Petrie, Commerce Bank Community President, "This promotion was a lot of fun for our staff and for our customers".

The "Only Way to Go" promotion was a bank-wide promotion throughout Kansas, Missouri and Illinois. Fifteen second prize winners and one $10,000 grand prizewinner were chosen at random in August. Two of the second prize winners and the $10,000 grand prizewinner were from the Kansas City area.
