COMMERCE BANK PROMOTES MAUPIN TO
ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, COMMERCIAL LENDING

(SPRINGFIELD, MO, September 26, 2001) - John Maupin has been promoted to Assistant Vice President of the Commercial Lending Division of Commerce Bank, Springfield. Mr. Maupin has seven years of experience with Commerce and is responsible for business development and customer service related to the bank's commercial lending services.

Mr. Maupin is a 1994 graduate of University of Missouri, Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. He is involved in several civic and professional organizations, including Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce Red Carpet Committee, United Way Allocations Committee, and board member, Greater Ozarks Chapter MU Alumni Association. Mr. Maupin is located at the Battlefield Banking Center, 1345 E. Battlefield.
