ST. LOUIS, MO - April 6, 2004 - Commerce Bank is pleased to announce Dennis Vitt has been appointed Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for the Business Banking Department of Commerce Bank. The announcement was made by John A. (Jack) Schreiber, Chief Operating Officer of Commerce Bank, St. Louis Region. Vitt brings to this position extensive Client Management experience in the St. Louis and Illinois area. In his new position, Vitt will develop new business strategies to improve cash flow and promote growth and profitability for businesses in the St. Louis area.
"Dennis is a proven leader in the Business Banking area and his in-depth expertise will be a valuable asset to our team and clients in the St. Louis area," stated Schreiber. "His strengths in developing innovative business strategies will help ensure we are delivering the highest level of service to our customers."
Vitt was previously Vice President with Bank of America where he was responsible for business banking. Consistently a top performer, Vitt was the number one business banker for the St. Louis and Illinois metro area in 2003. Vitt currently lives in Kirkwood and is a member of the Kirkwood Chamber of Commerce. He graduated from the University of Missouri in 1985.
