Springfield, MO - May 5, 2005 - John Himmel, chairman, Commerce Bank, Springfield region, recently announced that Karen Favor has been promoted to regional retail sales manager. In her new position, she is responsible for managing programs to support the bank's retail sales strategies, growth goals and relationship management objectives.
Favor has nine years of banking, lending and sales administration experience with Commerce. She has served in several key positions including financial services manager, sales assistant and, most recently, branch manager.
Favor is a 2000 Cum Laude graduate of Southwest Missouri State University Honor's College. Active in civic and charitable initiatives, she is a member of Ozark Rotary Club and volunteers for initiatives through Commerce in support of United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks, American Cancer Society, and more.
