Moberly, MO - May 6, 2004 - Teresa Rouse Maledy, president, Commerce Bank, Central Missouri Region, recently announced that Ken Tebow has been promoted to Community President of Commerce Bank, Moberly. Tebow has 24 years of banking experience with Commerce. He began his career as a management trainee in Moberly in 1980 and has held several key positions including consumer loan manager and business banking relationship manager.
A native of Moberly and a graduate of Moberly High School, Tebow earned a bachelors of music education degree (BME) in 1971 from Central Methodist College, Fayette. Prior to his banking career, he spent seven years as a band director in the Monroe City school system, followed by two years in home sales.
Active in the community, Tebow currently serves on the board of the Moberly YMCA and the Moberly Area Community College (MAAC) Foundation. On April 1, Tebow was awarded the American Business Womens Association's Associate of the Year by the Little Dixie Chapter of ABWA.
