Springfield, MO - May 19, 2004 - John Himmel, Chairman, Commerce Bank, Springfield Region, recently announced that Nichole Goddard and Stephanie Rutledge have been promoted to Retail Group Managers. In their new positions, Goddard and Rutledge have responsibility for managing all retail banking activities of assigned branches in the region. Duties include planning and implementation of sales and quality service programs, and oversight of established policies and procedures related to operations, security and human resource management.
Goddard has 10 years of industry experience in banking and lending including serving as a consumer loan processor, assistant branch manager and branch manager. As Vice President and Branch Manager of Commerce's Battlefield Banking Center, she now additionally oversees the Sunshine, Republic Road, SMSU, Willard and Branson banking center locations. Active in the community, she is a member of Rotaract and immediate past-chairman of the Red Carpet Committee for the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce.
Rutledge has 13 years of industry experience in banking and lending and has served in key positions including credit manager, training manager, and branch manager. As Vice President and Branch Manager of Commerce's Kansas Expressway Banking Center, she now additionally oversees the Glenstone, Ozark, Nixa, Bolivar, and Republic banking center locations. Rutledge graduated with a bachelor of science degree in finance from Southwest Missouri State University. She has served as an instructor with the American Institute of Banking (AIB) since 1999. Active in the community, Rutledge is a member of the AIB Board; past board member of the Ozark Chamber of Commerce, and past treasurer and board member of the Ozark Rotary Club.
