COMMERCE BANK CELEBRATES NEW ADDITIONS IN PARKVILLE

Bank Holds Ribbon Cutting to Celebrate New Parkville Banking Center and Names New Branch Manager

KANSAS CITY, MO - May 27, 2004 - Commerce Bank has opened a new full-service Parkville branch, located at 9155 NW 45 Highway, on the corner of 45 Highway and Bell Road. The new state-of-the-art branch includes a complete range of commercial and consumer banking services, five drive-up banking lanes, and a 24-hour drive-up ATM. Residents in the area will still have access to the Commerce Bank ATM located inside the Price Chopper Grocery Store, which is located in the Parkville Commons Shopping Center.

Commerce Bank executives, along with Mayor Kathy Dusenbery and Parkville City officials, commemorated the branch's opening in Parkville with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday,
May 19.

An amount of $750 was donated during the ribbon cutting. The Mayor of Parkville, Kathy Dusenbery; Parkhill School District Deputy Superintendent, Dennis Fisher; Synergy Services, Inc. Grants Manager, Rob Vetter all participated in the "Grab for Cash" at the newest Commerce Banking facility. The money from this event was given to Parkhill School District Educational Fund, Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter and Synergy Services, Inc.

"Each grab for cash participant had their own strategy to grab as much money as possible. They were delighted to be able to donate cash to three area groups," said John McKinzie, new branch manager at Parkville, Commerce Bank. "We look forward to a long partnership with our communities and our customers."

New Parkville Branch Manager Named

The announcement of this new facility coincided with the naming of a new branch manager, John McKinzie. McKinzie earned a bachelor's of science degree in economics from Central Missouri State University. McKinzie has been with the bank for four years. He most recently served as the branch manager of Commerce Bank's Platt County banking center.

"We are pleased to have officially opened our new full-service bank in the Parkville Community," said McKinzie. "This new branch is a testament of our commitment to offering value-added services and products in a more convenient location for our customers."
