ST. LOUIS, MO - June 9, 2004 - Sandy Washington, Senior Vice President, Commerce Bank, Central/North Group Region, is pleased to announce Howard A. Nimmons has been appointed as a new director to the Commerce Bank Community Advisory Board for the Central/North Region.

Mr. Nimmons's firm, Howard A. Nimmons CPA, provides services in the area of accounting, tax and financial planning to small businesses and individuals. As a financial professional for the last 25 years, Mr. Nimmons has been involved in business acquisition and start up, strategic planning and budgeting, tax planning and preparation for individuals, businesses and estates. Mr. Nimmons has worked in both the financial services area and health care industries.
Nimmons activity in the community includes working with Valley Industries, a sheltered workshop, serving on the board of directors; North County Incorporated, currently serving as president; Rotary Club of Florissant, member and past member board of directors and member of the Lutheran Church of the Atonement.
Mr. Nimmons received a Master of Finance from St. Louis University and a Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville. Nimmons is both a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner.
