Ribbon made of $500 in twenty-dollar bills donated to Angels'Arms
ST. LOUIS, MO. (June 9, 2004) --- Commerce Bank has opened a new full-service South County Marketplace branch, located at 4100 Rusty Road, near the intersection of Lindbergh Blvd. and I-55.
The new South County Marketplace Banking Center provides full-service banking to individuals and businesses and offers a complete range of retail, commercial and investment services.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the branch's opening was held on Thursday, April 29, 2004. Community officials and Chamber of Commerce members from South County joined Commerce executives at the event. The ribbon for the ceremony was constructed of $500 in twenty-dollar bills and was presented to Bess Wilfong, Executive Director, Angels' Arms, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing a nurturing, transition home for foster children until they can be placed in a permanent home.
