Martin City Elementary and Mission Trail Elementary Receive Donations From Commerce Bank
KANSAS CITY, MO - June 23, 2004 - Commerce Bank announced today the donation of almost $600 to two area elementary schools. The money was split between Martin City Elementary in Kansas City, Mo and Mission Trail Elementary in Leawood, Kan. The money was given during the ribbon cutting for the new 135th and State Line Commerce Bank branch in the Southmarket Shopping Center. The Mayor of Leawood, Peggy Dunn; Martin City Elementary Vice Principal, Johnny Dodge; Mission Trail Elementary Principal, Shirley Pinnick and South Kansas City Chamber Executive Director, Barb Engel all participated in the "Grab for Cash" at the newest Commerce Banking facility. "Each grab for cash participant had their own strategy to grab as much money as possible. They are delighted to be able to donate cash to two area schools," said Josh Cartwright, Branch Manager. "We look forward to a long partnership with our communities and our customers."
