Springfield, MO - July 19, 2005 - John Himmel, chairman, Commerce Bank, Springfield region, announced that Kody Brandt has been promoted to assistant vice president and branch manager of the company's Kansas Expressway Banking Center, 2616 N. Kansas Expressway. In his position, he is responsible for business development and customer service related to the branch's banking and lending services for consumers and small business. Prior to his promotion, Brandt served as financial services manager in the bank's branch manager trainee program.
Currently, Brandt is pursuing a bachelor's of science degree in business administration at Drury University. An active community volunteer, he has participated in initiatives including American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Habitat for Humanity Day of Caring, and fundraisers to benefit Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.
