Springfield, MO, July 21, 2004 - John Himmel, chairman, Commerce Bank, Springfield region, recently announced the following promotions:
Stan Triplett has been promoted to senior vice president of the Commercial Real Estate Division of the Bank. In his new position, he is responsible for managing all aspects of commercial and residential construction lending, including managing and developing client relationships. A seasoned lender, he has 23 years of experience with Commerce. Prior to his promotion he served as vice president and residential construction lender.
Triplett is a 1976 graduate of Southwest Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in finance. He is an affiliate member of Springfield Homebuilders Association.
Scott Tumlin has been promoted to commercial real estate lender. His responsibilities include developing and managing customer relationships related to commercial and residential construction lending products and services. An assistant vice president, Tumlin has 13 years of experience in banking, lending and credit management. Prior to his promotion, he served as Commerce Bank's small business banking specialist.
Tumlin is a 1994 graduate of Southwest Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in finance. Active in the community, he is past chair of the Strube Small Business Week Committee, Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, and past member of the Chamber's Membership and Ambassadors committees. He also serves on the board of Northside Rotary Club and on the Executive Committee for Rotary's Rock' N Rib fundraiser.
