KANSAS CITY, MO - July 27, 2004 - Hap Graff, Community Bank President, on behalf of Commerce Bank, announced three new branch managers to eastern Jackson County.
Joseph Hood has been elected Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of the Commerce Banking Center in Lee's Summit, located on 3rd Street and 291 Highway. His responsibilities include new business development and general management of the branch and its staff. Hood has been with Commerce Bank for eight years within the retail division of the Bank. He is a Lee's Summit resident and most recently served as the Branch Manager of the Commerce banking location in Harrisonville. Previously he was the Chairman of the Cass County Living History Festival and member of the Harrisonville Rotary Club. He received a bachelor's of science degree in history and business and a master's of management from Baker University.
Kim Lady has been elected Officer and Branch Manager of the Commerce Banking Center located on Osage Street on the Independence Square. Her responsibilities include new business development and general management of the branch and its staff. Lady has been with Commerce Bank for over nine years within the retail division of the Bank. She is an Independence resident and most recently served as the Branch Manager of the Commerce banking location in Raytown. Previously she was a member of the Raytown Chamber of Commerce, Co-Chair for the 350 Highway Committee and served on the Community Development Committee for the Raytown Chamber of Commerce.
David Schmidt has been named Branch Manager of the Commerce Banking Center in Raytown, located on Blue Ridge Blvd. His responsibilities include new business development and general management of the branch and its staff. Schmidt has been with Commerce Bank for over four years within the retail division of the Bank. He has most recently served as the Branch Manager for the Corinth Square Hen House Commerce Bank location. He attended both Johnson County Community College and Pittsburgh State University.
