Ceremony Includes Presentation of $5,000 Donation to Local Family Y.
Branson, MO - July 28, 2004 - Rob Johns, Community President, Commerce Bank, was joined today by dignitaries and officials from the City of Branson and Branson Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon cutting ceremony officially marking the grand opening of Commerce's new state-of-the-art branch. The Bank opened July 6th as the anchor tenant in Branson Financial Center, a premier development offering multi-tenant office space in downtown Branson. Commerce Bank's facility includes lobby space for consumer and commercial banking, three drive-up banking lanes, and a 24 hour drive-up ATM.
Prior to cutting the ribbon Johns remarked, "We are pleased to officially open our new full service bank in this extraordinary new office complex. The Branson market is important to Commerce Bank and we believe expanding to this prestigious location clearly communicates that importance."
The ceremony included the presentation of a $5,000 charitable contribution to the Ozark Mountain Family Y from the Commerce Bank Foundation and William T. Kemper Foundation, Commerce Bank Trustee. Officials from the Ozark Mountain Family Y accepted a large check representing the donation and indicated the grant would further the Y's mission to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities in the tri-lakes area.
