CARNEGIE ARTS CENTER RECEIVES $6,500 GRANT

Leavenworth, KS - August 2, 2005 - Carnegie Arts Center was awarded a $6,500 grant from the William T. Kemper Foundation, Commerce Bank, Trustee and the Commerce Bank Foundation. The grant will fund roof repairs that are needed on the center's main facility at 5th and Walnut.

"We are grateful to be able to support an organization that brings such quality cultural opportunities to the Leavenworth community," said Bill Petrie, president, Commerce Bank. Petrie made the presentation to the Carnegie Arts Center on behalf of the Kemper Foundation and the Commerce Bank Foundation.
