(St. Louis, MO - August 5, 2004) - Commerce Bank executives, members of the South County Chamber of Commerce, and community officials held a ground breaking ceremony Thursday, July 26th, to mark the construction of the new Commerce Bank Tesson Ferry Banking Center, located at 12856 Tesson Ferry Road in a former Boston Market location. Remodeling and expansion of the facility will allow Commerce to better serve the financial needs of the fast-growing South County area.
"This is a significant day for the South County community and for Commerce Bank. As we break ground today, we're eager to have a new Banking Center to better serve our South County customers," said Patrick Higgins, Senior Vice President and South Group Manager for Commerce Bank in St. Louis. "We look forward to building relationships with our customers and the community in which we live and work."
The new Commerce Banking Center will provide full-service banking to individuals and businesses and will offer a complete range of retail, commercial and investment services. Upon completion, the bank will include five drive-thru lanes and one ATM. Remodeling of the building has already begun, with plans to complete the Banking Center in December 2004. Arcturis, St. Louis, is the architect for the project and Tarlton is the general contractor.
