Ribbon made of $500 in twenty-dollar bills donated to The Pony Bird Home, Inc.
ST. LOUIS, MO. (August 19, 2005) --- Commerce Bank has opened a new full-service Festus branch, located at 1102 Bradley Street, near the entrance to Lowe's.
The new Festus Banking Center replaces the Commerce Banking Centers which were located at 1075 Gannon Drive and 101 Main Street. All of the employees from those two branches now provide full-service banking to individuals and businesses, offering a complete range of retail, commercial and investment services.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the branch's opening was held on Tuesday, August 16, 2005. Community officials from Festus joined Commerce executives at the event. The ribbon for the ceremony was constructed of $500 in twenty-dollar bills and was presented to Linda Dallas, Director of The Pony Bird Home. The Pony Bird Home provides residential, recreational, educational, and adult programming services to those individuals who are nonambulatory with physical and mental disabilities.
Tim Woods, Branch Manager for the Festus Banking Center commented, "Commerce Bank is always looking for ways to make our customers' banking experience even better. This new branch was constructed to help serve our customers in the Festus community in the most efficient way."
