Contributions will benefit The Guadalupe Center
KANSAS CITY, MO - August 23, 2004 - The Blanco y Negro Awards, a fundraising gala for the Guadalupe Center, announced a $1,500 grant given by The William T. Kemper Foundation, Commerce Bank, Trustee. The grant was given to help fund the Blanco y Negro Awards ceremony.
The event will be held on September 9th. In addition to honoring five individuals for their extraordinary service to the Hispanic Community in Kansas City, the event will be celebrating its 85th anniversary. This premiere Latino social event will kick off the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month.
