KANSAS CITY, MO - September 30, 2004 - The Board of Directors of Commerce Bank, Kansas City, announced the following officer promotions and elections.
Craig Woodson has been elected Senior Vice President in the Human Resources division, where he serves as Director of Human Resources for Kansas City. He is responsible for overseeing all human resource functions for the Kansas City region. Woodson has 16 years of industry experience and has been with Commerce Bank for seven of those years. He is a University of Missouri-Kansas City Bloch School of Business human resources advisory board member, Employment Practices Network board member, Third and Long Foundation board member and Human Resources Forum past president. Woodson received a bachelor's of arts degree in business communications from Fort Hays State University.
Louis Williams has been elected Vice President in the Treasury Services division, where he serves as a Treasury Services Officer. He is responsible for sales of treasury services and payment system products and services for middle market and large corporate companies in Colorado, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Williams has been with Commerce Bank for eight years within the Treasury Services division. He is a director of the Kansas City Club Board and a Volunteer for the American Royal Parade. Williams received a bachelor's of science degree in business administration from Truman State University.
Susan Doyle has been elected Vice President in the Treasury Services division, where she serves as a Treasury Services Product Development Manager. She is responsible for developing the bank's overall strategy and product position as it related to the Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment system. Doyle has been in the industry for 13 years. She is a member of Mid-America Payment Exchange, National Automated Clearing House Electronic Check Council, Federal Reserve Bank ACH Product Advisory Group and is also a volunteer for the Junior Outlaws Hockey Association. Doyle received a bachelor's of science degree in business administration from The University of Maryland.
Mark McGavran has been elected Officer in the Retail division of the bank, where he serves as a Branch Manager of the Commerce Banking Center located at 127th and Antioch. His responsibilities include new business development and general management of the branch and its staff. McGavran received a bachelor's of business administration degree in finance from Fort Hays State University and is currently working towards a master's of business administration degree from The University of Kansas.
