KANSAS CITY, MO - October 6, 2004 - The Board of Directors of Commerce Bank, Kansas City, announced the following officer promotions and elections.
Cary Occhipinto has been elected Assistant Vice President in the Retail division of the bank, where he serves as a Branch Manager of the Commerce Banking Center located at 135th & Quivira. His responsibilities include new business development and general management of the branch and its staff. Occhipinto has been with Commerce Bank for five years within the Retail division of the bank. He is a member of the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce, Overland Park South Rotary Club and the Brentwood Elementary Site Council. Occhipinto received a bachelor's of science degree in business communications from The University of Kansas.
Tammy Clement has been elected Officer in Retail Lending and Payment Systems (RLPS), where she serves as a relationship specialist. She is responsible for retaining and growing the portfolio of clients that utilize Commercial Cards and services. Clement has been with Commerce Bank for five years within the RLPS division of the bank. She is a member of the National Association of Purchasing Card Professionals. Clement received a business administration degree from Baker University and is currently working towards a master's in business administration degree from Webster University.
Uma Mohanrajan has been elected Officer in the Treasury Services division of the bank, where she serves as a Product Manager. She oversees the remittance processing area for the Kansas City and St. Louis markets. She monitors and evaluates the bank's current remittance processing product offering to better meet the customers' needs. Mohanrajan has been in the industry for five years. She is a member of the Association for Financial Professionals. Mohanrajan received a bachelor's of arts degree in world history from The University of Madras and also holds a certified treasury professional (CTC) distinction from The Association for Financial Professionals.
John Wilson has been elected Officer in the Treasury Services division of the bank, where he serves as a Product Manager. His is responsible for overseeing the online products utilized by the Commercial customers, including Small Business Online Banking, Online Cash Management and other eCommerce related products. Wilson has been with Commerce Bank for four years. He is a member of the Association for Financial Professionals. Wilson earned a bachelor's of science degree in hotel and restaurant management from Kansas State University.
