St. Louis, MO - October 14, 2004- Commerce Bank announced that it has purchased property at Interstate 55 and Highway A, near the entrance of the new Lowe's where it will build a new Banking Center. Construction of the new, updated and handicap-accessible facility will allow Commerce to better meet the financial needs of customers and the Festus Community. The anticipated opening of the new facility is Spring 2005. Once the new Banking Center is completed, the current Commerce Banking Centers at 1075 Gannon Drive and 101 Main Street will close and all employees and banking operations will move to the new facility. Commerce Bank will maintain an ATM at the 1075 Gannon Drive location for the convenience of the community.

Upon completion, the bank will include 5 drive-through lanes, 2 ATMs, a convenient parking lot, safe deposit boxes, and more than 5,000 sq. feet of floor space for tellers, financial services representatives, plus personal and commercial lending staff.
