(St. Louis, MO) - November 3, 2004 - Commerce Bank is pleased to announce Darryl Collins has been promoted to senior vice president. Sue Hutchins, executive vice president of retail administration, made the announcement today.
"Darryl has a very broad base of banking experience," said Sue Hutchins, executive vice president of retail administration. "He really knows the business and the Saint Louis market. This enables him to provide exceptional leadership and management of the group operations for the Saint Louis market."
Collins is responsible for management of the group operations function for the Saint Louis market and is group manager for Metro East Illinois branches. In addition, Collins manages the site selection and budgeting for new Saint Louis branches and ATM's. With over sixteen years of banking experience, Collins has worked in various positions in retail and commercial banking.
Collins is an active member in the Metro East Illinois and St. Louis communities serving in many organizations including the Center for Financial Training, St. John Home and Community Care, and Collinsville Chamber of Commerce. Collins is a graduate of Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville, earning a bachelor's degree in mass communications/business and a master's degree in business administration.
