(St. Louis, MO – November 3, 2005) - Commerce Bank Executives, Florissant City officials, dignitaries and the Florissant Valley Chamber of Commerce, held a ground breaking ceremony this morning to mark the construction of the new Commerce Bank Florissant Banking Center, located at 8190 N Lindbergh. The new Banking Center will replace the current Florissant branch located at 475 N. Highway 67. The new branch is scheduled to open in Summer 2006.
The new Florissant Banking Center will provide full-service banking to individuals and businesses and will offer a complete range of retail, commercial and investment services. Upon completion, the bank will include 5 drive-through lanes, 1 ATM, and more than 7,000 sq. feet of floor space for tellers, financial services representatives, plus personal and commercial lending staff.
Sandy Washington, Senior Vice President and Group Manger for Commerce Bank in St. Louis commented, "As we break ground today, we look forward to the future.
