Columbia, MO - November 8, 2004 - Teresa Rouse Maledy, president, Commerce Bank, Central Missouri Region, recently announced that cash management specialist, Mandy Mazuch, has been certified by the Association of Financial Professionals as a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP). A globally recognized certification that indicates excellence in treasury and finance, approximately 70 percent of CTP holders are employed in Fortune 500 Companies. Criteria for exam eligibility includes a minimum of two years experience in cash management.
A 2000 graduate of University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor of science degree in personal finance, Mazuch has four years of experience in banking. She began her career in Kansas City with a large community bank, then re-located to Columbia and joined Commerce Bank in 2002. As cash management specialist, she is responsible for business development and customer service related to the bank's electronic banking and treasury management services for business and commercial customers.
Mazuch serves on the campaign committee for Special Olympics of Mid-Missouri and she was recently selected a class member of the Chamber's Leadership Columbia program. Through Commerce, Mazuch volunteers for a number of initiatives to benefit Partners in Education, United Way, American Cancer Society and more.
