(St. Louis, MO - November 15, 2005) - Commerce Bank executives, members of the Wentzville Chamber of Commerce and community officials held a Ground breaking ceremony Tuesday to mark the construction of the new, free-standing building for the new Commerce Bank Wentzville Banking Center, located at the intersection of Pearce Boulevard & Wentzville Parkway (in the Wentzville Common Schnucks Plaza).
The new Wentzville Commerce Banking center will provide full-service banking to individuals and businesses, plus will offer a complete range of retail, commercial and investment services. Construction of the facility will allow Commerce to better serve the Wentzville community. The new Wentzville branch is one of several new branches Commerce is constructing on both sides of the Mississippi as part of a five-year plan started two years ago. Upon completion, the bank will include four drive-thru lanes, one ATM and 7,400 sq. feet of floor space for tellers, financial services representatives, plus personal and commercial lending staff. Plans are to complete the Banking Center in late 2006.
