Switch to Electronic Billing, Statements and Payments

When you sign up for E-Statements and Online Bill Pay, not only will you benefit, but the environment benefits as well. By switching to electronic bills, statements, and payments, every year the average household can:*

  • Save 6.6 pounds of paper
  • Save 0.079 trees
  • Avoid use of 4.5 gallons of gasoline to mail bills, statements, and payments
  • Avoid release of 63 gallons of wastewater into the environment
  • Avoid producing 171 pounds of greenhouse gas emissions

Stopping paper statements and bills lets you:

  • Organize and access your account documents electronically. You’ll have access to all of your current and prior year statements in Online Banking.
  • View your statements and E-Bills as soon as they’re available. You won't have to wait for the mail. You’ll receive an e-mail as soon as your statements or bills are available online.
  • Protect yourself against identity theft. You'll have less paper to shred and fewer account documents sitting in your mailbox.

Steps to Sign Up for E-Statements:

  • Log in to Online Banking and click "Self Service" on the left menu
  • Choose “Stop Receiving Paper Statements” under Preferences
  • Choose the "E-Statement" option
  • Follow the instructions to activate your E-Statement

Steps to Sign Up for Online Bill Pay and E-Bills:

  • Log in to Online Banking and click "Pay Bills"
  • Accept the separate terms and conditions
  • Answer a few security questions to verify your identity
  • Online Bill Pay will be ready to use any time after 6:00 p.m. the next day
  • Follow the instructions to set up your E-Bills and E-Payments
