- Average daily balance is calculated by adding the ending ledger balance in the account each day of the monthly cycle and dividing that sum by the number of days in the cycle. You must maintain the minimum average daily balance for the month to avoid a service charge.
- Annual Percentage Yield as of January 29, 2010. Minimum balance to open is $1,000. Penalty for early withdrawal. Personal accounts only. Not available for IRAs. Each depositor insured to at least $250,000. To be eligible for this rate, you must have or open a CommerceOptionsSM Plus or CommerceOptionsSM Premium checking account; otherwise the APY will be 1.25%. Maximum deposit limit $500,000 per customer.
