Financial Aid and Other University Refunds
Through an arrangement with Commerce Bank, PSU may direct your university refund to your Gorilla Checking account, using your unique Gorilla Card number. (Note: The Gorilla Checking account is separate from the other accounts stored and accessed by your Gorilla Card, i.e. Banana Bucks, meal plans.) This process allows greater flexibility and convenience when accessing your funds.
If you are receiving excess financial aid or other university refunds, you will receive an email from the Cashiers and Student Accounts Office when your funds are available.
You may access your funds by:
- ATM withdrawal using your Gorilla Card and PIN
- Making PIN-based purchases at retailers throughout the U.S. using your Gorilla Card or optional Visa® Check Card
- Withdrawal from any Commerce Bank branch including the Pittsburg locations
