Should you or your family become the victim of an Identity Theft Event* and file a police report, this service provides educational materials and guides you through the process to help restore your identity and reestablish your credit.

· To be eligible for Family ID Restoration, you must have an Commerce Bank personal checking account, reside in the United States or its territories, and be a legal adult in your state of residence. The Service also applies to the spouse or domestic partner (any person living in a legally recognized domestic partnership with Customer in their state of residence) of the registered Customer, dependent children under the age of 21 who live with the Customer and dependent children under the age of 25 who are full-time students, as determined by IRS dependency requirements.

*Identity Theft Event means the use of Customer's name, address, Social Security number, bank or credit card account number, or other identifying information without Customer's knowledge to commit fraud or other crimes.

The cost of utilizing Check Plus Overdraft Protection is the Cash Advance fee (5% of advance amount with a $10 minimum) plus Interest at the Cash Advance rate, which begins accruing on the day of the Cash Advance. Subject to initial credit approval. Your Commerce Credit Card must be in good standing.

To help us ensure we can open your new account as quickly and efficiently as possible, please have the following with you when you apply online or by phone, or bring with you if you're applying at the branch:

· Photo Identification such as: a driver's license, state-issued ID, Military ID or current US Passport.
· Secondary form of Identification such as major debit/credit card embossed with your name, College ID, utility bill with your name, documentation of home ownership or other.
· Employer name and phone number
· Instructions for funding your new account such as with a check, an account number or cash
· Proof of current address

Minimum Opening Deposit: The minimum deposit to open an account is $100.

Required Balance to Maintain the Account: The required balance to maintain the account is any amount greater than zero.

Rewards Savings and Personal Savings Requires $300 daily balance OR at least one monthly electronic deposit, including Online Banking transfers, of $25 or more (waived for minors). Daily balance means ending ledger balance in the account each day. You must maintain the $300 minimum daily balance every day of a month or have at least one electronic deposit of $25 or more during the month to earn interest and to avoid a service charge that month.
