What matters most to me after reflecting on this past year is growth spiritually, emotionally, physically, and mentally through communication. When looking at this piece, you will notice that the hands are in proximity of each other, however they never meet. This represents the longing of human connection we all felt through the pandemic. The close proximity also represents that even though we are not together, we are still closely bonded. Growth and new beginnings are shown through the vines and the Narcissus flowers. My aspiration is for the viewer to gain a sense of prosperity, hope, and good wishes for the future.
