KANSAS CITY, Mo. –– Commerce Bank has named Russ Rockenbach as the new president of its north Texas market. Rockenbach brings more than 30 years of experience to Commerce Bank. Early in his career, after graduating from Northern Illinois University, he worked in corporate finance and portfolio management. Then, after obtaining his master’s degree from Northwestern University, he took on roles in portfolio administration and relationship management before serving as a managing director of middle market banking, and most recently, as a senior banking director in the Dallas metro area.

“I am excited to join Commerce Bank and lead this talented and dedicated team,” said Rockenbach. “Commerce is uniquely positioned to support the growth of our clients by helping them access capital and optimize their banking processes so they can focus on what matters most.”

Commerce Bank serves the north Texas region from its offices in uptown Dallas, where it delivers innovative financial solutions to serve customers who have commercial real estate, commercial and industrial banking, healthcare banking and business payments needs.

“We are thrilled to have Russ join Commerce as our north Texas market president,” said Nick Warren, regional president at Commerce Bank. “His vast experience and client-focused approach will be a natural fit and enhancement to our relationship-based philosophy.
