Commerce Bank named a Best Company to Work For by U.S. News & World Report

St. Louis, MO – Commerce Bank was recently recognized on U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Companies to Work For” Finance and Insurance, and Midwest lists. According to U.S. News, “The top-rated up to 25% of companies in their industry, and the top 25% of companies in their region are ultimately coined ‘best’.”

U.S. News & World Report considered 5,000 of the largest publicly traded U.S. companies that had at least 75 U.S.-based Glassdoor reviews. Using curated publicly available employee opinions, in addition to public sentiment and benefits data from Revelio Labs, Good Jobs First, and Quodd, the top 636 companies were rated on how they support employee well-being across six key factors, on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest rating.

The six factors U.S. News evaluated are:

  • Quality of pay and benefits
  • Work/life balance and flexibility
  • Job and company stability
  • Physical and psychological comfort (safety)
  • Belongingness and esteem
  • Career opportunities and professional development
