Commerce Bank to recognize local veterans during Veterans and Military Families Appreciation Month.
St. Louis – Commerce Bank will celebrate Veterans and Military Families Appreciation Month by recognizing local veterans for their contributions across the communities it serves. From November 2 through November 25, veterans who visit a Commerce branch can receive a uniquely designed challenge coin, a military tradition that serves as a token of appreciation for their dedication, service and merit.
Customers, team members and community members can also participate through Stars of Service, an initiative designed to recognize veterans through personalized stars displayed in Commerce branches, and by engaging with Veteran Appreciation-related content on Commerce social media channels. The Commerce Bancshares Foundation will donate $1 to Veterans Community Project (VCP) for every completed Star of Service, as well as each like, comment and share on related social media posts through November 25, up to $5,000. This donation will support VCP’s mission of “Veterans housing Veterans, armed with the strength and support of the community,” helping transform acts of recognition into tangible impact.
“Veterans have made lasting contributions to our communities, and we’re proud to honor them throughout November,” said Adam Steven, director of retail banking, Commerce Bank. “Through challenge coins, Stars of Service and opportunities for others to get involved, we hope to express our gratitude through meaningful moments recognizing their service, commitment and dedication to our country.”
Veterans are encouraged to visit a Commerce Bank branch between November 2 and 25 to receive a complimentary challenge coin while supplies last.
