Since the debit card feature was removed the Special Connections Card is close to worthless since it drives the need to carry 2 cards. One to access other commerce bank accounts. One to use in businesses where the original card is still recognized as a debit card and won't work. For instance self serve checkout at Walmart. The other issue is it does not have the tap to pay feature. McDonalds self serve checkout only works with tap to pay cards. Recently in Europe and had my daughter not had competitors card we would have been screwed..

My Commerce Credit Card
I feel comfortable using a credit card from a local bank. Transferring money from other accounts into my credit card account when the payment is due is very convenient as are the notifications of charges in my email. I have had good advice from the customer service dept. when I have felt uncomfortable about situations that may or may not involve my credit card.
