My Reward Points Disappeared and Customer Service Told Me "Tough Luck"
Yup... they switched the third-party vendor who handled their reward points system. I know this because I reached out after having about $100 worth of gift cards (redeemed from earned points) not get mailed to me. The new third-party vendor company's customer service team said they didn't have the data to help me because the old company got fired. The Commerce Bank customer service team told me they could pull the data to help me because the old third-party vendor handling rewards got fired. So, tough luck. Yup. That's how things ended. I've been a customer for nearly 30 years and I was told that that's the way the cookie crumbles. As a career journalist/marketer, I know a thing or two about storytelling. I'm preparing to blast my story across the internet. I'm not happy and Commerce Bank could care less. I'll be closing my account soon.
