Very reliable bank with my security in mind

It's my go to card

I've been using my Special Connections card for years, and it has been an overall great experience. I've had cashiers look surprised when I insert my card and it then asks which account I want to pull money from. However, on some machines that don't have the ability to select whether I want to pay with credit or debit, the system seems to default to paying with debit. I've had a few instances where money has been super tight, hence why I'm paying for things with credit, and the pay kiosks I'm using will decline me for my debit balance being too low. Like, I KNOW my debit balance is low, that's why I'm trying to pay with credit! Anyway, it doesn't come up too often, but be wary when trying to use this card at a Walmart. In my experience, their old card readers and kiosks will try to run you as Debit instead of Credit, which can be a mild headache.

I called to try to set up a checking account and I was unable to get this done. It sucks having only the credit card with no other accounts.

no problems. sometimes takes a while to reach customer service, but never too long, and all issues/questions resolved well or better.
