Bad Relationship
I will be cancelling this account due to lack of support from your financial institution. I asked for help in resolving a situation with a merchant. I paid for Lawn service and never received service. The Lawn company confirmed my lack of service, my want to a refund and cancellation. Instead of refunding my money, their policy was to reserve it as store credit, which means I could not get my money back and would still have business dealings with them. I reached out your institution so that the charged may be reversed because I did not receive what I paid for. I recently received a letter from your institution that stated "Commerce Bank can not negate the terms and conditions agreed to...Documentation received does not support my dispute claim". This information means you do not support me and we are in a bad relationship. I will be cancelling this line of credit due to this bad relationship. If a merchant can take advantage of me, receive payment without providing service, and does not have to provide a refund...and my financial institution is in agreement with their actions and does not support my claim, then its best for us to part ways. The icing on the cake was when I attempted to call (855-8484-4769) to discuss this decision. The phone rang continuously. I finally got through to voicemail and left a voicemail and have yet to receive a return call. Whomever reads this, please inform the correct department to set my account for deactivation, immediately!
